PRESS RELEASE: Team Signature, Inc. Takes Part in Golf Fundraiser

CHERRY HILL, NJ – Signature, Inc.’s President highlighted the firm’s most recent philanthropic event. He also outlined a few of the benefits that come with giving back to the community as a team.

The most recent Signature, Inc. philanthropic event was the 5th Annual SJ Mary’s Fund Golf Tournament and Reception. Kenneth Weinraub, the firm’s President, explained that giving back is something his team members are always excited to do. There’s also a strong passion for golf within the company, so this event was an especially rewarding chance to support a great cause. The day-long outing will feature a round of golf, lunch, dinner, and a reception. There will also be a giveaway.

Weinraub stated that Mary’s Fund was created to honor Mary Joy Sherlach, the school psychologist who gave her life to protect students during the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012. The mission of the fund is to support programs that aid the mental and social wellness of children and adolescents.

The New Jersey chapter of Mary’s Fund supports charities such as the Tri-State K-9 Response Team and The Angels Community Outreach. Weinraub added that these are organizations Team Signature, Inc. proudly supports as well. Along with these efforts, Mary’s Fund also provides scholarships to local students who are interested in mental health careers.

Signature, Inc.’s President on the Many Positive Outcomes of Team Philanthropy

Being engaged in the local community is one of Signature, Inc.’s guiding principles. The President explained that giving back to the people who have enabled the firm’s success is one of the most inspiring things team members can do. There’s always a buzz in the company workspace after a charitable event. This was doubly true after the Mary’s Fund golf outing, as contributing to such a life-affirming cause was an experience to remember.

Weinraub added that making valuable new connections is another consistent benefit of taking part in giveback events. Being around other people who care about making a difference in the community is motivating for the firm’s associates, the President noted. Combined with their shared love of golf, this common interest in social impact led to meaningful bonds that could prove helpful for Signature, Inc. in a variety of ways.

Morale also gets a boost with every team giveback event. Weinraub stated that teamwork is always strong around the Signature, Inc. office, but that it takes a jump every time associates come together for a good cause.
