CHERRY HILL, NJ – The President of Signature, Inc. detailed the firm’s recent work with the Tri-State K-9 Response Team. He also outlined a few of the team-building benefits to be gained from giving to good causes.
“Team Signature, Inc. is committed to serving the New Jersey community,” stated Kenneth Weinraub, the company’s President. “The Tri-State K-9 Response Team is one of the many worthy causes we support, and it will soon host the Stars and Stripes 5K Run & Fun. We’re happy to be working with the organization to honor local Marine veteran, police officer, and first responder Andrew Einstein and his dog, Gunner, with the 2017 Hero of the Year award.”
The Tri-State K-9 Response Team provides certified dog and handler teams for animal assistance groups throughout New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. It also has national response capabilities. Weinraub remarked, “This nonprofit has an all-volunteer team of service dogs and handlers that works tirelessly to provide emotional support and comfort to victims of all types of trauma. This includes natural disasters, personal tragedies, and severe medical conditions.
Signature, Inc. will also be presenting a donation of $1,000 to K-9 units in four New Jersey police departments – Cherry Hill, Voorhees, Lumberton, and Westhampton. Weinraub added, “The human-canine bond has real power to accomplish good. With all the negative stories we hear, we want to bring awareness to the positive work these groups do to keep our communities and our country safe.”
Signature, Inc.’s President Outlines Team-Building Benefits of Philanthropy
Giving back to the community is a core Signature, Inc. principle for many reasons. Weinraub explained, “Of course it feels good to support worthy causes both in our local community and beyond. The rewarding feeling we receive from helping others is reason enough to explore all our giving options. However, we’ve also found that giving as a team helps us strengthen our bonds.”
The President continued, “When our associates get together to help an organization such as the Tri-State K-9 Response Team, they learn more about each other as people. In the case of this particular nonprofit, our people bonded over their love of animals and shared belief in how positive a force they can be in helping improve lives.” Weinraub is a firm believer in the fact that uniting for good causes tends to pay off back at the office. He concluded, “Our team seems to collaborate even more smoothly in the aftermath of a giveback event, which is one of the many reasons we keep looking for more philanthropic outlets.”
