There are plenty of stresses and hassles that come with business travel, but they pale in comparison to the many benefits of hitting the road and representing your company. Our Signature, Inc. road warriors have devised a few innovative and simple travel hacks that will help you get the most out of your experience, and we’d like to share a few of them with you here.
If you’ve ever tried to sleep on a plane or train without a pillow, you know how difficult and frustrating it is. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on an ergonomic neck pillow to be comfortable when traveling; all you really need to do is purchase a small beach ball. Once inflated, it makes a handsome and unique headrest for your next trip and a conversation starter if you want to stay awake.
A dripping faucet can drive you crazy when trying to sleep in a hotel room, and it is unfortunately a common occurrence. Our Signature, Inc. associates have found that dental floss is a fine solution to this problem, and all you have to do is tie it around the spout to make the water cascade down the floss instead of dripping annoyingly into the sink.
Hotel room curtains are also common sources of travel frustration, because they always seem determined to let in a sliver of light. We suggest taking a few hangers from the closet and using the clips to seal the curtains tight, which will ensure a better night’s sleep and a bit more privacy as well.
We at Signature, Inc. hope you will leverage these unique travel hacks to your advantage and make your next excursion one to remember.
